Eye Infection

Back at the doc's again. This time for an eye infection. Doc says my tear duct clogged up. A lot of baby have this problem. And I'll grow out of it.

Since I'm here anyway, nurse did a weight check. I'm 24 days old and weights 11 lb 4 ozs. My weight is in the 98%!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now that I am latching on properly, I can suck down all the milk I want in 5 minutes flat!

2nd doctor's appointment

Back at 10 days. I'm now 9 lb. 4 ozs. 86% on weight. No other measurement taken today...

My cord stump fell off today!

WOOHOO...I got yellow stool!

Stool starting to form. I started crying inconsolably between 1:00 and 2:30 am.

Doctor's Appointment

My first appointment at 4 days. I've lost a little weight. I'm 8 lb 3 ozs. My head is 36 cm. My brother's is 14.5". Which is bigger?

Mom did a little research. His is bigger by .8 cm.

More about me...

I was rather pale at birth. I had lots of sneezes and hickups the first night. I have distinct cries for different things. I say "Eh" when I'm hungry. I can scream when I feel pain. But that stops as soon as the problem goes away. My hands and feet get cold easily. And I seem to have a problem with mucus in my lungs. Otherwise, I'm good.

I could swim in the clothes Mommy brought to the hospital. Mommy and Daddy love my soft brown hair, strong grip and piercing grey green eyes. And that thing I do with my blondish eyebrows make me look like a deep thinker. To mommy's delight, I have a cleft chin and a little bird's mouth...just like my brother :)

This is me at 10 weeks. You can't see it from this still. But I was bouncing around like a ping pong ball. Already, I can roll into a ball, do flips and extend my arms and legs like I'm dancing!



Here I am again @ 12 weeks. I was a bit more composed and by the look of things... feeling quite at home.






Mommy bought me this dress at week 17.


This is me @ 20 weeks. Nana and William were there for this visit. I was quite shy and refused to show my face.
