Aimee says, "Ou Va!" (This is her one liner. It is also what you want to say if you want to get a belly laugh out of her).

Aside from that, she can say, "Mommy", "Daddy", "Gòh Goh" (for big brother), "Doggie" and "Naai Naai" (for milk).

She says "Mer" or "Mama" when she's tired or just plain tired of what she's doing.

The words "Igaboo!" and "Digabaaaa!" are uttered with great emphasis when she's mad. The effect is much amplified with body language.

She also says "Dip pa di do!" (to which the appropriate response is "Dip pa di day!") or "wee" when she's happy. She makes the cutest sounds when she's in a sunny mood.

Since I started wearing this full time, I've been getting my hair washed nightly and one (if not two) feeding a night. It's a little frustrating that I can't scratch my head whenever. Otherwise, it's all good.

Doctor's Appointment

My six month check up was today. I'm 19.7 lb (97%) and 28 inches tall (99%). My head is 16.7 inches around (53%). It seems my head is not growing as fast as the rest of me.

Hopefully, measurements are just off because of the shape of my head.

Fire Truck Day

Tough Love

It was eight days from Aimee's six month checkup. Mommy recalled that doctor said she is big enough to sleep thru the night at four months. So she decided it was time to put me on a sleep training program.

To everyone's surprise, I appear to have mastered the skill on May 13th, night 2 of 8! On night 1, I started complainting at around 1:30 am. After doing a quick check to make sure everything was ok, Mommy close the door and went farrrrrr away so I can cry it out. I kicked and screamed for about 20 minutes (the outer limit). Then I went to sleep. Mommy held her breath for another episode at 4am. But that never happened.

On night 2, I went to sleep at 8:30 pm. I stirred a little in the dark at 2 am but didn't make a peep until 6am. Mommy's sleep was so restful she almost cried!!!

Dub Dub

It's actually "Doub Doub Doub Doub Doub..." and "Goau, Goau, Goau..." when the sound comes out behind those chubby cheeks. But I am making talking sounds!

Instead of what Mommy calls "dino talk", my talking voice is soft and small. It is absolutely adorable.

Doctor's Appointment

This was my three months and 3 weeks (15th week?) check up. Weight is 17 lb 10 oz (99%). I'm 26.75 inches tall (100%). And my head is 16.3 inches around (71%).
