It was eight days from Aimee's six month checkup. Mommy recalled that doctor said she is big enough to sleep thru the night at four months. So she decided it was time to put me on a sleep training program.
To everyone's surprise, I appear to have mastered the skill on May 13th, night 2 of 8! On night 1, I started complainting at around 1:30 am. After doing a quick check to make sure everything was ok, Mommy close the door and went farrrrrr away so I can cry it out. I kicked and screamed for about 20 minutes (the outer limit). Then I went to sleep. Mommy held her breath for another episode at 4am. But that never happened.
On night 2, I went to sleep at 8:30 pm. I stirred a little in the dark at 2 am but didn't make a peep until 6am. Mommy's sleep was so restful she almost cried!!!
